At Troop 44G, we're not just earning badges—we're creating future leaders and building a community of strong young women! We gather with other young ladies in the area to foster deep camaraderie and ignite a passion for life's biggest challenges.
Our program is designed to develop the whole person through hands-on learning and service:
Outdoor Expertise: From mastering knots and navigation to learning the essentials of Hiking, Camping, and even Kayaking, we turn novices into confident adventurers.
Citizenship & Service: We believe in making a difference. Our Scouts actively engage in projects that serve others, putting the principles of the Scout Law into action.
Leadership from the Heart: We champion the Servant Leadership methodology, teaching that true leadership is about serving the team first. Every Scout is empowered to lead, organize, and inspire her peers.
The Merit Badge program is your opportunity to explore career paths and develop unique talents. From the sciences to the arts, there's a badge to spark every interest!
Dive deep into subjects like:
Science & Tech: Astronomy, Chemistry, Digital Technology, Electricity, and Environmental Science.
Safety & Preparedness: Emergency Preparedness, First Aid, Fire Safety, and Crime Prevention.
Outdoor & Fitness: Archery, Climbing, Cycling, Fishing, Rifle Shooting, and Snow Sports.
Arts & Trades: Drafting, Metalwork, Pottery, and Landscape Architecture.
Whether you're curious about Animal Science or want to learn Cooking for a monthly campout, these badges provide the skills you need to be ready for life!
Everything we do is built upon the timeless values of Scouting America.
The mission of Scouting America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
A Scout strives to be: trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.
“On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.”

Get the quick scoop on what makes Scouting America Troop 44G the best place for fun, adventure, and unforgettable memories!
A: Blast-Off on Tuesdays! We gather every Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This is where we learn new skills, plan our next adventures, and build friendships that last a lifetime!
A: Absolutely! We live for adventure! We go on an epic camping trip or exciting outing at least one weekend every month. Think hiking, pioneering, service projects, and everything in between. We're not just a troop; we're a travel team!
A: YES!! Our Summer Trips are LEGENDARY! We always plan a big, spectacular trip during the summer break. For example, in 2024, we took an incredible journey to see the majestic Yellowstone National Park, the iconic faces of Mt. Rushmore, the powerful Crazy Horse Monument, and yes... we even paused to see the world's biggest ball of twine 🤣 (because a little goofy fun is mandatory!).
A: Invest in Adventure, Not Clutter! Our fees keep the lights on and the fun happening.
Annual Registration Fee: $85 (This goes to the national organization, Scouting America.)
Annual Troop Dues: $125 (This stays with Troop 44G to cover awards, equipment, and meeting supplies.)
